9100 ELECTRICAL CODE: JOURNEYMAN’S
MODULE 1 – 75 HOURS

This full year course will follow the July 2001 State regulations for Journeyman eligibility. Topics to be covered include safety, basic theory, AC theory and systems, and introduction to blueprints. All topics related to the current Electrical Code of Massachusetts. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
Materials: Current Electrical Code book, calculator.

9105 ELECTRICAL CODE: JOURNEYMAN’S
MODULE 2 – 75 HOURS

Journeyman’s module 2 is a full year course that follows the July 2001 State regulations for Journeyman eligibility. Topics to be covered include A/C fundamentals, overcurrent protection, grounding and conductors. All topics relate to the current Electrical Code of Massachusetts. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Module 1
Materials: Current Electrical Codebook, and calculator.

9115 ELECTRICAL CODE: JOURNEYMAN’S
MODULE 3 – 75 HOURS

This course will continue your training in AC & DC theory, services, calculations and sizing of services, transformers, motor controls, and maintenance. Emphasis will be placed on the current Massachusetts Electrical Code and General Laws of Massachusetts. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Module 1 and 2.
Materials: Current Electrical Codebook, and calculator.

9120 ELECTRICAL CODE: JOURNEYMAN’S
MODULE 4 – 75 HOURS

This is a full-year course that follows the July 2001 Massachusetts State regulations for journeymen electricians. The course will cover the following topics: Load Calculations, Lightning, Fire Alarms, Transformers and controls. Emphasis will be placed on the current Massachusetts Electrical Code and General Laws of Massachusetts. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Module 1, 2 and 3.
Materials: Current Electrical Codebook, and calculator.

9125 ELECTRICAL CODE: ADVANCED MASTERS
COURSE – 75 HOURS

This course will follow the July 2001 State regulations for Master Electrician eligibility. Topics to be covered include a complete review of the Journeyman’s program, commercial and industrial load calculation, and Massachusetts regulations and business practices. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
Prerequisite: Journeyman’s License.
Materials: Current Electrical Codebook, current Massachusetts Business Book, and calculator.
