Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?
When day school is cancelled due to snow conditions or other weather or emergency events, evening classes are also cancelled. In the event day classes are not cancelled and the Montachusett area expects severe weather in the evening, a decision will be made by 3:00 PM. Please listen to the local television and radio stations for current cancellation notices. In addition, our office voicemail and website will reflect SCE cancellation.
Cancelled classes are made up (same day of week and time) by extending the finish date of the course unless other arrangements are made between the instructor and the class, and approved by the director.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS?
On the first night of class, participants should arrive ten minutes prior to the scheduled start time. All students should enter through the main entrance and check in with an SCE representative. Students may be required to purchase a textbook (noted in the course description). The ISBN number for the text and a link to purchase is also noted in the description.
